Observations:

December 2017 - Dalton continues as an often-injured ECHL blueliner who's skated in 96 leauge games with Allen and Brampton over the past three campaigns, registering five goals, 12 assists and 239 penatly minutes. As he's only reached the AHL for nine contests with St. John's in 2015-16, it's fair to say his NHL prospects aren't too good at this point. Kevin Wickersham

March 2015 - After missing the early portion of the season with an injury, Thrower began his pro career down in the ECHL with the Brampton Beast. Judging by his lack of offense this year - four points in 23 games - Thrower is not anywhere close to being NHL-ready. Eric Daoust

February 2014 - Thrower has bounced back from a poor 2012-13 campaign with close to a point a game through 42 contests this year. If he can continue to improve and successfully translate his physical game to the professional ranks despite being slightly undersized, he projects as a good multi-category defenseman a few years down the line. Eric Daoust

February 2013 - This season hasn’t gone as planned for Habs prospect Dalton Thrower. He has suffered a few minor injuries and his production has fallen. He has only 21 points in 41 games for the Saskatoon Blades. He still has lots of time left this season to pick things up. He will probably spend the next two seasons playing in the AHL before getting a sniff of the NHL. Zenon Herasymiuk

April 2012 – Thrower is a tough, two-way defenseman that loves to throw the body and get involved at both ends of the ice. He also has very good hockey sense which he uses to make very good outlet passes to his teammates. He is often compared to Vancouver Canucks defenseman Kevin Bieksa. In 66 games he registered 54 points and 103 penalty minutes. Look for him to be a huge part of the Blades next year as they host the Memorial Cup. Zenon Herasymiuk

Fantasy Outlook: D

Still young at age 23, but has battled injuries in a largely disappointing career this far. Doesn't look a prime NHL candiate.
