Observations:

Oct 2017 - Dryden Hunt worked on his foot speed in the off season after completing his first pro year. Coming in with high expectations, he finished fourth among Springfield's forwards in points and will look to continue to build. He even spent time in the ECHL in February of 2017. While he had a legitimate opportunity to win a job out of training camp (as spots were available) he was a bit lack luster. Florida would like to see consistent production from the skilled winger. - Joel Henderson

February 2016 – Hunt has signed an entry level deal with the Florida Panthers. Entering this season he was an undrafted overage player in the WHL. He has had a very productive season with 49 goals and 50 assists for 99 points through 62 games with the Moose Jaw Warriors which is good for second overall in the WHL. Earlier in the month he won WHL player of the week honors so It has been quite the month for Hunt in which he also scored four hat-tricks in five games. With his late breakout season, he had several NHL teams coveting him and ultimately chose the opportunity with the young Panthers organization.   – Lee Rayson

Fantasy Outlook: C+

Hunt likely projects to be a middle six player in the NHL if he continues on his development path. He has an outstanding release and solid vision on the ice. With the Panthers depth, he will have the time to transition into the pro game and not need to be rushed. .
