Observations:

Oct 2017 - After finishing 2016-17 with 11 pts in 47 games in the AHL, it might be a bit tough for Lammikko to work his way up the lineup. He has the size and skill in order to compete but it'll be tougher with some of the additions Florida has made in the off season. They clearly value skill and size in their bottom six. He could be one to keep an eye on if he starts gaining ice time. He was cut when Florida reduced their training camp roster to 32, so he has some work to do. - Joel Henderson

April 2016Lammikko had a productive year with the Kingston Frontenacs, finishing the season just short of a point-per-game pace with 55 points in 59 games, putting him in the top four in point production on a deep Kingston squad. In the OHL Playoffs, he had seven points in nine games before being knocked out of the post-season by the Niagara Ice Dogs. On April 15, Lammikko was rewarded by the Florida Panthers with an NHL entry-level contract and is playing for the Panthers' AHL affiliate, the Portland Pirates. Chris Crawford

December 2015 – Lammikko has been selected to represent Team Finland at the World Junior Championship. Through 30 games with the OHL Kingston Frontenacs, Lammikko has 10 goals, 18 assists, along with 29 penalty minutes for the 203 pound 19 year old. His combination of size and skill should be on full display on the large international ice surface as he has tremendous vision to find his line mates. With his size and typical Finnish feistiness he will not shy away versus the more physical teams in the tournament. Lammikko has proven to be very reliable in all situations and we should see him in the NHL in a numbers of years as the Panthers can allow him to develop with their depth of young talent in their forward group. Fantasy Outlook: C+

The strapping young winger has a responsible two-way game with adequate offensive prowess that should translate into a successful middle-six role on an NHL team.
