Vince Dunn, D

Shoots: L

Height: 6-0

Weight: 187

Born: 1996-10-29

Hometown: Peterborough, ON, CAN

Drafted: 2nd round 2015 by St. Louis 56th overall

December 2017 -  Dunn has spent 33 games with the St. Louis Blues this season and has scored three goals and four assists.  He has a Corsi for of 459 and a Corsi against of 408.  Dunn has been able to adjust quickly to the NHL game, is an excellent skater and has a bright future with the Blues. Doug Abrams

January 2017 – Dunn has been on of the biggest surprises for the Chicago Wolves. As the youngest player on the team at just 20, the offensive defender has seven goals and and 13 helpers in 35 games, placing him second on the team for points by a defenceman, and his plus-12 leads the Wolves. His 20 points are fifth among all rookie D-Men in the AHL. Dunn has really stepped up in the absence of AHL superstar Brad Hunt with 11 points in his past 12 games. While he's still likely a couple years away from being in the mix for regular NHL duty, Dunn is making his way up the depth chart. Brad Phillips

October 2016 - Dunn has been sent to Chicago of the AHL where he should remain for the next two or three seasons. After three productive seasons on the back end with Niagara, Dunn will need to bide his time in the minors, as St. Louis is pretty set on D for the next little while. Brad Phillips

June 2015 - Plenty of upside for Dunn, who was taken by St. Louis 56th overall. But the Blues are known for patience and it may be four to five years before we see him as a regular.

June 2015 – The smooth-skating Vince Dunn is a defenseman always looking to create offence from the blueline. Swift and confident in possession, Dunn has a strong ability to slip through the neutral zone and gain the offensive blueline with ease. He’s riverboat gambler style of defenseman, in a Mike Green-ish kind of way, who isn’t afraid to take chances offensively. His defensive awareness is okay but he will need to better decide on when he jumps up into the rush to limit turnovers at the next level. Vince Dunn projects as an early second round selection at the 2015 NHL Draft. Brendan Ross

Fantasy Outlook: B-

Offensively wired, Dunn is your prototypical offensive defenseman and the points will surely follow. Look for him to eventually carve out a role on a team’s top power-play unit.
